Coram’s Fields Football pitch – Holiday and School terms in the winter.

During the holidays all you can see in Coram’s Fields pitches are people playing football. Teenagers are laughing around and matches are being played by adults who have booked the pitch. You feel warm because of the weather and also because you are staying active by running about. You can hear teenagers talking; adults communicating “I want, I want, give the ball!”. It smells like fresh air because you are outside. It tastes like the falafel we eat before going to the pitch.

During the school terms all you can see are the empty pitches with only the people who work across the street using it. You feel cold as the wind hits you from side to side. You can only hear the adults muttering in the background “Unlucky George”. It tastes like having five ice cubes in your mouth. It smells like fresh air as you are outside.
