Romeo and Juliet Act 2 Scene 2 Summary


In Act 2 Scene 2 all Juliet could think about was Romeo; “O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?” She was saying this on her balcony were see got a surprise by Romeo turning up. They were pleading there love for each other and Juliet was worried about Romeo like if he got caught and was curious about how he got in.  After questioning how they can see eachother without getting caught Juliet said that they should get married. They agreed the time to get a wedding and they were both really happy

 

Romeo and Juliet Metaphor

In Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare uses a lot of metaphors. The reason for this is because it helps get an image and gives a better description of how Romeo is feeling. An example of this is when Romeo said that his soul is full of led. He was describing his depression over Rosaline. Shakespeare uses many metaphors in his work to give an example about how each character is feeling. Another example of how Shakespeare uses a lot of different types of writing is from Lady Capulet how she was speaking but had a background meaning how she was talking about a book and if you look at all of Shakespeare work the majority of the writing has a second meaning behind it or is a clever play of words or METAPHOR
